“Golfers going to Hawaii for the first time are rewarded with winning views of different islands and get to play Hawaii’s fabulous golf courses during a 7-day Hawaii cruise.” – Leisure & Travel Golf Magazine

Hawaii Golf Cruises recommends you fly into Honolulu a day or two prior to your cruise departure.

Hawaii Golf Cruises has pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel accommodation packages, includes coach transfer to the port/ship on Saturday, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.

Spend Thursday night and\or Friday night in Waikiki.

Play a round of golf on Friday in Oahu before your cruise if you arrive on Thursday. Coral Creek Golf Course From $70.00; Ewa Beach Golf Course From $95.00; Hawaii Prince Golf Club From $80.00; Kaneohe Bay View From $35.00; Royal Hawaiian From $89.00.

Hawaii Golf Cruises has two highly recommended optional ‘golf + transportation’ combo packages for you on Oahu, at (1) Ko Olina and (2) Turtle Bay

(1) Ko Olina Golf Club

Ko Olina Golf Club one of Golf Digest’s “Top 75 Resort Courses in the U.S.” is a challenging 18-hole Oahu course built in 1990 by renowned course architect Ted Robinson. Typical of his designs, Ko Olina Golf Club features exceptional water features, multi-tiered greens, large landing areas, and a moderate length which makes it perfect for beginners and experts alike. Located on the sunny West Coast of Oahu, just a short drive from Honolulu and Waikiki, Ko Olina Golf Club was home to the 2016 LOTTE Championship presented by Hershey. Twilight rate after 1:00 pm from $159 + taxes including shuttle van. Includes 18-hole golf round, green fees, and cart fees. Morning rates are higher. Ride-along fee for non-golfer travel companion $100 subject to space availability in the shuttle van.

(2) Palmer Course Turtle Bay

Palmer Course Turtle Bay is consistently regarded as the best course on Oahu, the Turtle Bay Palmer Course is an absolute must-play. Set along Hawaii’s North Shore, home to Pipeline, Sunset Beach, and Waimea Bay, the course meanders its way through the natural wetlands, and circumvents natural waterways and dense Hawaiian jungle that offers great protection from the coastal winds and meets the ocean coast on its penultimate signature hole, the par-4 17th. Roundtrip shuttle with your Hawaii Golf Cruises reservation, from $219 + taxes. Shuttle transportation from Waikiki to Turtle Bay Resort, an 18-hole round of golf on the Palmer or Fazio course, green fees and cart fees included. Ride-along fee for non-golfer travel companion $100 subject to space availability in the shuttle van. After your Honolulu sailing departure on Saturday your ports o’ call over the next 7 days are Maui, Hilo, Kona, and Kauai – then back to Honolulu.

Maui and Kauai are ‘overnight’ port visits, so you have time enough to choose to play two courses at each of Maui and Kauai.

The most in-demand golf course for golf cruisers in Hawaii is the Plantation Course at Kapalua on Maui. Home to the PGA TOUR Tournament of Champions each January. Available club rentals including two sleeves of balls will run you around $79 – golf shoe rentals around $19. Before transportation costs and driver gratuities – playing 18 glorious holes on the Plantation Course at Kapalua will cost you in the region of $249 to $699 per golfer for an early or midmorning tee time.

Your selected cabin accommodations as well as meals in the main dining rooms onboard the NCL Pride of America are included in the cruise fare; breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Additional onboard dining outlets for burgers, pizza and buffets are also included in your fare. You’ll pay a nominal service cover charge for specialty restaurants.

Tip – have your breakfast in the main dining room – white linen service, cooked to order eggs, fresh hot toast, best eggs benedict – beats the Buffet Breakfast hands down.

Norwegian Cruise Line Freestyle Dining.

Only Norwegian Cruise Line offers the freedom and flexibility of Freestyle Dining, which means no fixed dining times or pre-assigned seating. Enjoy a four-course meal and a great bottle of wine. Or grab a burger hot off the grill. Dress up. Dress down. Sit with your friends or make new ones. Dine inside or oceanside along The Waterfront. Since Norwegian Cruise Line is the only cruise line with a fleet of ships specially built with restaurants from bow to stern, you can enjoy more dining options than days of your cruise.

Interior Cabins are the least expensive and quite comfortable if you are not claustrophobia prone. This is the cabin Category accommodation you are going to pick for a HUGE deal.

Book a Quad cabin (for four). Choose one of the Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Pride of America “3rd and 4th passenger sail free” qualifying departure dates.

Pay the 1st and 2nd passenger fares and the 3rd and 4th passengers sharing your cabin sail for free. Divide the total reservation fare cost by 4 and you’ll have the Hawaii Golf Cruise of a lifetime per-person-fare at an incredible cost saving.

Cruise Fares. Next in fare cost are Oceanview Cabins – they have a fixed window and no balcony.

The most popular Category to sell out early on every departure date are the next in line – but more expensive Balcony Cabins – they come with a private veranda with outside chairs and table – a great Category for room service breakfasts outside on your veranda.

Up on the higher Decks you’ll find the luxuriously appointed and spacious “Suites with private Butler and Concierge services”  Penthouse Suites with extra-large balconies (in some categories), Family Suites, Owners Suites and -a Deluxe Owners Suite which comes with your own private Butler, grand piano in your private living and dining room, and a jacuzzi hot tub on the expansive private veranda, course by course white glove Butler breakfast, lunch and dinner service in your Suite on request, evening cocktails, aperitifs pre-dinner, served in your VIP Deluxe Owners Suite and lots more privileged amenities – if this is your travel lifestyle, you’ll need GolfAhoy, our sister company. For this level of luxury and VIP service, coupled with exclusive golf excursions on Hawaii’s top Championship golf courses – you’ll demand the GolfAhoy 10 Day VIP Deluxe Circle Hawaii Islands Golf Cruise all-inclusive package – an exclusive GolfAhoy offer!  Phone 239.344.9187

Expect to pay from between $1,299 per passenger for an Inside Cabin and from $5,299 upwards for a Deluxe Owners Suite onboard the Norwegian Cruise Line ‘Pride of America’.

Tip – some people mistakenly believe that they can get a lower cruise fare by booking directly with the cruise line, because travel agents earn a booking commission. THIS IS NOT TRUE! If the price of a seven-day Hawaii cruise booked directly with the cruise line, is say $4,000 per couple, the cruise line will NOT reduce or discount the price by 10% just because they are not paying a travel agent a 10% commission. They will still charge you the full amount and pocket the difference. In effect, the cruise line pays the commission, you do not – but Hawaii Golf Cruises will get you the EXACT same price that the cruise line will charge you.

Makalei Golf Club

Port: Kona

Makalei is truly one of the most unique golf courses in the world. It is breathtakingly beautiful on the western slopes of Hualalai Mountain. Voted by Golf Digest as “Best Places to Play”, the course encompasses all the serenity and challenge that the island of Hawaii has to offer. Makalei boasts an elevation range from 1,800 to 2,850 feet with a temperate climate, encompassing ocean views, and native species of plants and animals including peacocks.

Volcano Golf Club

Port: Hilo

Par: 72, Yardage 6,547. The Volcano Golf Course is one of the world’s most unusual courses. Situated on the rim of the active Kilauea volcanic crater, Volcano Golf Course lies in the cool highlands 4,000 feet above the sea, with sweeping vistas of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea – both snow-capped in winter.

Puakea Golf Course

Port: Kauai

Par 72, Yardage 5,225-6,954, Slope 113-135. Close your eyes and imagine playing golf with the Pacific Ocean stretching out before you and Mount Haupu towering above. This isn’t a dream…. this is Puakea Golf Course. Designed by Robin Nelson, Hawaii’s most prolific golf course architect, Puakea plays around deep ravines and over streams fed by fresh mountain rains. So serene is the backdrop, you can get lost in the joys of the game.

Kauai Lagoons Golf Club

Port: Kauai

Par: 72, Yardage 7,055. Discover a little corner of paradise. Tucked away in a tranquil tropical setting of Hawaii is the majestic Kauai Lagoons Golf Club. Wailea Golf Club – Emerald Course

Port: Maui (Kahului)

Par 72, Yardage 5,268-6,825, Slope 114-130. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Emerald Course is one of the reasons Golf for Women magazine named the Wailea the most women-friendly club in the country. It’s a superbly designed course created for pure golf enjoyment with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Haleakala. Regardless of one’s handicap, the four to six tee boxes on every hole allow players to tailor the course with ease to their playing level.

Kapalua – Bay Course

Port: Maui (Kahului)

Arnold Palmer and Francis Duane designed the Bay Course. The forerunner of Kapalua’s two championship golf courses, the Bay Course is a 6,600-yard par 72 with gently rolling fairways and generous greens. One of the many highlights of the course includes Kapalua’s version of “Amen Corner,” the fourth and fifth holes. On a lava peninsula that carves two pristine bays, hole #4 has ocean breezes and uninterrupted views of the coast. Bay’s signature hole #5 is a par 3 that requires you to carry over sparkling Oneloa Bay to a small green protected by bunkers. The Bay Course has hosted multiple PGA and LPGA Tour Events and is an excellent example of resort golf at its best.

Poipu Bay Golf Club

Port: Kauai

Par 72, Yardage 5,372-7,081, Slope 122-134. Even the most focused golfer will be challenged by breathtaking views from every hole at Poipu Bay. The course is backed by lush emerald mountains and sculpted from a rolling plateau eight stories above the expansive blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Nestled among the gentle contours of Poipu Bay, you’ll discover the remains of Hawaii’s Heiau (temples) and ancient stone walls. If this weren’t challenging enough, the nature of Poipu Bay presents you with one distraction after another from native Nene geese and rare Hawaiian monk seals to green sea turtles and humpback whales. You’ll have lots of excuses to back your scorecard. Then, of course, there’s the view!

Kapalua – Plantation Course

Port: Maui (Kahului)

Kapalua Plantation is a 7,411-yard par 73 course. It’s the site of the PGA TOUR Tournament of Champions. Each January this tournament features an elite field of previous year’s PGA TOUR winners. The grand scale of the course designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore unfurls across natural geographic formations and pineapple plantation fields that take your breath away. The Plantation Course is ranked the #1 Golf Course in Hawaii and #17 in the Top 100 Golf Courses in the US – by Golf Digest Magazine.

Wailea Golf Club – Gold Course

Port: Maui (Kahului)

Par: 72, Yardage 5,317-7,078, Slope 119-139. The Wailea Gold Course is home to the Wendy’s Champions Skins Game. Wailea Golf Club – Old Blue

Port: Maui (Kahului)

Par: 72, Yardage 6,755. Dominating Maui’s skyline is the majestic 10,023-foot dormant volcano, Mt. Haleakala. Meandering across her lower foothills are the pristine fairways of the Wailea Old Blue Course. Stretching 6,765 yards from its tips, this classic Arthur Jack Snyder beauty has charmed her way into the heart of many a Wailea golfer. With cooling fountains, serene lakes, exotic blossoms and coral sand bunkers, the Old Blue is a true Hawaiian resort course.
